FAQ

Can I check in early?

Check-in will be available starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 14; however, please note that the Auditorium doors will not open until 45 minutes prior to each session. There is no advanced or reserved seating. We suggest you check in early and then have dinner at one of the restaurants near the church. For resources from Pastor Robert, Jimmy Evans and Michael O’Brien, we invite you to visit the Thrive Store before and after the sessions. The Thrive Store is located in Guest Central in The Lobby.

Can singles attend the Thrive Marriage Conference?

Singles, dating and pre-marriage couples are welcome to attend. Many of the principles Pastor Robert and Jimmy will present can be applied to all relationships and will also prepare you for your future marriage. You’ll also enjoy the fun and entertaining atmosphere that Michael O’Brien, our featured musical artist, will bring to this conference. However, if you feel uncomfortable at any time during ministry times, please don’t hesitate to step out of the Auditorium until the ministry time is complete.

When and how do I check in?

If pre-registered without childcare:
General check-in opens at 5:15 pm on Thursday, July 14. When you arrive at Thrive, enter through the lobby doors and proceed directly to any one of the Kiosks to register in The Lobby to receive your conference packet. Your packet contains your conference booklet and program along with some other materials.

If pre-registered with childcare:
Childcare will open in God’s Amazement Park (the children’s area) at the times listed below:

  • Thursday, July 14 | 6:15 pm
  • Friday, July 15 | Childcare is not provided during morning and afternoon workshops
  • Friday, July 15 | 5:45 pm
  • Saturday, July 16 | 8:30 am

When you arrive at Thrive, enter through The Lobby and approach one of the check-in stations. You’ll be asked for your name and the last four digits of your phone number. Once you check in your children, you’ll receive their name tags. Please proceed to your child’s assigned room. After dropping off your children, return to The Lobby Information Booths to check in and receive your conference packet. More information regarding Childcare.

If you have a ticket:
General Check-in opens at 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 14. When you arrive at Thrive, enter through The Lobby and proceed directly to any one of the Kiosks to receive your conference packet. Your packet will contain your conference booklet and program along with some other materials.

At-the-Door Registration:
If the conference is not sold out, At-the-Door (LATE) registrations will be accepted at the Late Registration rate.

Full Conference Rate (Late Registration)
$120 per couple or $60 per person

General Sessions Only (Late Registration)
$100 per couple or $50 per person

Please enter through The Lobby and proceed directly to any one of the Kiosks. You’ll have to complete a Late Registration form and make your payment at that time. Once you’ve registered and paid, you’ll receive your conference packet.

What should I wear?

Casual attire is recommended. The Auditorium is enclosed and air-conditioned. Because the temperature may vary and might be a little cool, we encourage wearing layered clothing. You may want to consider bringing a light sweater or jacket.

What activities, places and restaurants are available in the Southlake area?

The Southlake/Grapevine area has a wide variety of things to choose from. Whether you want to stroll through the beautiful Gaylord Texan Resort, take a casual walk through the Southlake Town Square or enjoy relaxing outside in one of our area parks, there’s a little something for everyone.

Two movie theatres are located very close to the church as well as the Southlake Town Square located across Highway 114, which features a variety of stores and restaurants to satisfy any taste. In addition, Restaurant Row and Main Street in Historic Grapevine are located just a couple of miles to the east.

When will I get my ticket or confirmation of my registration?

When you register online, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you purchased additional tickets, you’ll receive your tickets attached in a separate email closer to the conference date. PLEASE NOTE:  When you receive your email with your ticket(s) attached the email may contain one or more tickets purchased or your spouse may have received their ticket through a separate email address.

You must bring your tickets with you to check in at Thrive. If you fail to receive your ticket, please email thrive@gatewaypeople.com.

Is my registration refundable?

Cancellations will be accepted by notifying Gateway Church in writing and a full refund given if received by June 30, 2011. The registration fee is non-refundable after June 30, 2011; however, tickets are transferable.
 
There will be no refunds for no-shows or cancellations made after June 30, 2011.  Registrations may be transferred from person to person or within your group or organization at no charge.  Registrations are not transferable to future conferences.  Please do not ask the Thrive staff to make exceptions to this policy.

How can I promote THRIVE in my church or community?

Can I buy additional tickets?

Yes! When you register online, there’s an option to purchase additional tickets. Both you and your guest will present your ticket at the time of check-in.

Do I qualify for any other special prices or group rates?

We offer a 25% discount group rates for church groups ordering 20 or more tickets (10 couples) attending Thrive together.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

A limited number of scholarships are available for people to attend at a partial registration fee of $30. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please complete the Scholarship Application and return to our office by July 8, 2011.

Is the seating reserved or general admission?

All seating is general admission. Doors open 45 minutes prior to each session. There is no advanced or reserved seating.
